Workshops for school children and staff.

Sessions vary from half days to full days and can be run at any time of year. One-off workshops might include using games, songs and rhymes to develop singing skills, confidence and communication skills. These activities lend themselves well to playground games and allow a common language across a primary school and be aimed at getting a whole school singing.

Workshops might be more focused with Liz leading example music lessons for staff to watch and participate in alongside the training. After-school staff only workshops can be added to a day to give the staff a chance to get ahead of the children and explore all the musical skills they can be teaching their pupils through the activities learnt with Liz during the day.

Liz has run trainings and workshops in primary schools across Cheshire, if you think it might work for your school get in touch or arrange to visit Liz teaching at a nearby school.

Methodology workshops for adults.

Workshops looking at the methodology and philosophy of the Kodály Approach and how it can be used to teach music to others. They will look at how the steps from subconscious to conscious are built to allow all to become musicians.

Sessions vary from half day introductions to more indepth courses which run across a few weeks or months. Please email for more information and prices.

Sessions can be booked by organisations for training. Liz has led methodology training at the BKA Summer School 2013 and as part of the Music is For Everyone workshops in 2012.
